Di 11 Nov 2008Zwarte Piet, Yes or No Debat/Debate Zwarte Piet of niet Kunnen we er over praten?/ Can we talk about it? Het Van Abbemuseum organiseert in samenwerking met kunstenaars Petra Bauer en Annette Krauss een debat over het fenomeen Zwarte Piet. The project was part of the Be(com)ing Dutch exhibition in the Van Abbemuseum, and consisted of an installation, a protest march and an as yet unmade film about the Zwarte Piet phenomenon. The Van Abbemuseum found itself forced to cancel the march due to extremely negative reactions and threats of violence. Read More. |
